Refund and Cancellation Terms

Last updated 26 July 2026

Operator sets the rules

Each bus operator sets its own cancellation and refund rules. You can see the operator's policy on the booking page before you pay, and again on your ticket.

Common cases

  • Free cancellation: you get a full refund if you cancel before the cut-off time set by the operator.
  • Partial refund: you get part of your money back if you cancel by the deadline.
  • Non-refundable: no money is returned once the booking is confirmed.

If the operator cancels the trip

If the bus operator cancels or does not run the trip, you are entitled to a full refund of the ticket price. ZamBasi will help you get this refund from the operator.

How refunds are paid

Refunds are paid back to the same payment method you used, unless we agree with you on another method. Refunds may take a few business days to appear.

Service fees

Any non-refundable service fees will be clearly shown before you pay.
